Here are some video excerpts from last October’s Empty Cage Quartet LP release show at The Stone in NYC, courtesy of our label Prefecture Music.
Thanks to Connor O’Brien for this excerpt from a recent performance by Not Twice at Dagny’s, performing Jordan Aguirre’s composition “Theme on Our Beloved” with guest Christian Pincock on valve trombone.
On Sunday night I joined the brilliant pianist Cathlene Pineda and her trio with Ivan Johnson on bass and Tina Raymond on drums at Art Share in downtown LA. This is a really fantastic new space, and it was a great night of music that also featured new works by saxophonist Beth Schenck and composer Jodie Landau.
Thanks to Lisa Dee for the photo.
Sorry for the last-minute notice, but this is happening tonight. More info on FB.
I’ll be hitting the road again with NYC guitarist Mike Baggetta next week for a series of concerts and workshops in Bakersfield, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Los Angeles. Full schedule below, and more info at our new website: tinbag.net
